With more than 30 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and highly skilled approach to supporting individuals, couples, families, and organizations. My clinical work centers on addiction, co‑dependency, and co‑occurring disorders, and I proudly provide LGBTQ+ affirming care. I also work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my therapeutic approach is rooted in Motivational Interviewing (MI)—a collaborative, respectful, and non‑confrontational style of therapy that helps people explore their own motivations for change. I meet clients exactly where they are and help them move toward where they want to be.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am an experienced trainer, facilitator, and leadership coach, providing statewide trainings for behavioral health providers, supervisors, and community organizations.
My background includes more than 25 years in program and organizational leadership—managing behavioral health programs, supervising clinical teams, and designing curriculum. This experience allows me to blend clinical expertise with practical leadership insight, supporting both clients and professionals in creating meaningful, sustainable change.
I am also active in community leadership and volunteer service, contributing to regional training and education initiatives that strengthen communication, engagement, and inclusive leadership.
My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Pride LGBTQ+ Business Leadership Award, “Field Instructor of the Year,” and “Outstanding Alumnus” from California State University, Stanislaus.
